Compass Heading and Posture indicator issue (Magnetometer/3 axis Sensor)

I also have an issue getting the correct posture/compass output on screen. The indicator is supposed to show which way the ROV faces when you are pointing at it with RC. Calibration and rebooting wont fully alleviate it. Does anyone have insight to how tedious replacing the Magnet Sensor is? $20 part which I’ve read fixes... my theory is either bumping rocks/riverbed or shaking water out of the drone may have caused the fault. The first year was issue free, drone is about 2 years old now (V6e running iOS) it appears this is NOT apple or droid related so switching platforms isn’t the answer I guess…

Posture issues often trace back to the magnet sensor. Replacing it should solve this, and it’s a manageable repair.

Thanks. Do you know of an internal schematics reference page? I’m guessing it’s located in the sealed chamber but am unsure..also noticed the posture appears more skewed in iOS vs Android version. May not need to service it.
