I have tested a little. The GPS is in the bouy so position is taken from bouy location, so no position is logged where you take the picture. Also I find no GPS pos in picture properties, so if GPS position is needed you have to position the bouy where needed and look in the logs where GPS pos is logged frequently and match time stamp with picture time.
