Camera full spectrum conversion

Hello, any of you tried to convert the camera of a fifish drone to full spectrum by removing the uv filter from the lens? Came across so conversions of older models of gopro camera´s where this was possible and they gained night vision because of this mod.

I’m having trouble getting into the camera chamber..have you had any success? Hard to inspect what you can’t remove…There are 2 small Phillips screws deeply seated in the metal housing which gave me issues.

I haven't opened mine yet but, here is a movie of someone who did. . I first did it to my GoPro for testing and it works. Now I am waiting for my infrared flashlight to mount next to it

Try using a precision screwdriver with a narrow shaft. If it’s still tough, check if there’s any debris or rust blocking the screws.
