    My ROV design as an introduction

    I tend to build bigger/more functions than your average 'underwater drone'. I'm less interested in flora/fauna and more interested in underwater structures, vehicles, and sunken wessels. From a fun, voyeuristic standpoint rather than a monetary one. Doesn't mean i won't pick up a doubloon...

    Spool or Cable Winder Reel for Underwater Drone

    When i built my original tether spool, i designed it after a modern fishing reel. No need for a slipring, a 'baling' arm goes round and round, winding the tether on or off the outside of the spool, sideways.
